Therapy for Parents of LGBTQ and Neurodivergent Children in MN and TX
A space for your voice, radical self-acceptance and new passion for life
Do you find yourself pushing some thoughts or feelings aside?
Do you notice you’re checking out or feeling numb a lot more lately?
Have you tried replacing painful thoughts with “positive thoughts”?
When you’re on your phone, is something nagging at you? Something that’s important but that you just can’t quite face, so you keep scrolling?
You are your child’s best advocate - now, how about some support for you too?
Welcome! I’m Margaret. Come spend a season with me.
Raising a child who is neurodivergent or LGBTQ+ is a journey filled with unique joys and complex stressors. But in the middle of IEP meetings and your child’s identity discovery, who is supporting YOU?
I provide a dedicated therapeutic environment for parents to be heard and to practice new tools to lead their family with clarity and connection. My clients experience success because we work together as a team. At first, we’ll make space for the difficult thoughts, feelings, and physical responses. Then, we’ll practice evidence-based tools and strategies so that you can live your life the way you want to and not be dragged around by the worst thoughts.
