If you’ve been on your path of transition for a while, you’re probably very sure that you’d like to have one or more surgeries that support your identity. Since surgeons require one or two letters from healthcare practitioners, I write these letters and I’d be happy to support you.
Life in ATX moves at a rapid pace. People are constantly coming and going, and it’s easy to feel lost in the crowd. While you may feel like just another person among the many, you are a unique individual with your own struggles, challenges, joys, and triumphs. If you’re an adult who identifies as transgender, you are on a journey filled with many twists and turns, complex stressors, and distinctly unique joys.
Supporting you as you advocate for the gender-affirming care you need is one of my specialties, and I have had the privilege of working with clients just like you from across the Lone Star State. I provide a supportive environment where you can express your emotions and needs safely, without judgment. After the evaluation, I will prepare a gender-affirming surgical letter for your documentation needs. While ongoing therapy sessions are not required for this service, I would welcome the opportunity to work together to provide you with evidence-based tools and strategies so you can live life on your own terms in the most fulfilling way possible.

The evaluation process will last approximately 75 minutes and may be conducted online or in person.
